Mechanical Properties
The tensile strength of 3003H24 aluminum sheet is 145-195Rm/MPa, while the tensile strength of 5052H24 aluminum sheet is as high as 230-280Rm/MPa, which is much higher than 3003H24 aluminum.
The extension strength of 3003H24 aluminum sheet is 115Rm/MPa while that of 5052 h24 aluminum alloy is 150Rm/MPa. Therefore, the performance of 5052 aluminum sheet is significantly better than that of 3003 aluminum plat.

3003 alloy is mainly thin aluminum sheet while both 5052 thin aluminum sheet and aluminum plate are widely used.
Application Scope
In automotive industry, 3003 aluminum alloy is used for car batter shell and 5052 aluminum sheet is used for coach body panel, car door, fuel tank, etc. 3003 aluminum is often used in humid environment because of its excellent anti-rust performance. AA5052 aluminum alloy is also used for electrical enclosures, transportation vehicles, pressure vessels, oil pipes, etc.
