3xxx aluminum alloy is the most widely used rust-proof aluminum, with manganese as the main alloying element, and the representative grade is 3003. It is used for processing parts and components that require good forming performance, high corrosion resistance and good weldability.

What needs to be noted about 3003 aluminum sheet is anodization. Because of different processing technology, 3003 aluminum sheet can be divided into cold-rolled products and hot-rolled products. Among them, cold-rolled products must not be anodized, because after oxidation, there will be obvious color difference, rust and other problems. If anodization processing is required, hot-rolled products can be selected.

The technical content of the positive current collector aluminum foil of high-end power batteries is relatively high. The aluminum foil used for current collectors is mainly 1060, 1070, 1100, 1235, 3003 and other alloys. The mainstream thickness specification is 10-20μm. Some battery manufacturers use 8μm. The future direction is to continue to thin it, and it may even be reduced to 6μm.

5754 aluminum sheet is mostly used in door panels, engine covers, or trunk covers abroad. The corrosion resistance, light weight, and high strength of this product are the main reasons why it is favored by automobile manufacturers. However, the price of 5754 aluminum sheet is much higher than that of traditional galvanized steel sheet, so it is rarely used in low-end and mid-range cars. We can only see its shadow on the bodies of high-end brands.

5754 aluminum alloy is a typical Al-Mg alloy containing 2.6-3.6% magnesium. The addition of magnesium causes Mg 2 Si in the matrix to precipitate to provide strengthening. Common tempers are 5754 h111, 5754 H22, H12, H14, H114, etc. 5754 h111 properties makes it easy to bend.

As the material of the gearbox housing, 5754 aluminum plate not only has good corrosion resistance and weldability, but is also easier to process and form, providing a solid guarantee for the stable operation of the vehicle. This aluminum plate has good corrosion resistance and strength, and can meet the operating requirements of the car in various environments.
